GRIEF SUPPORT
You do not have to perform grief correctly.
Some days are heavy. Some are ordinary. Some are weirdly funny. Coffee With the Dogs makes room for all of it without turning grief into a project you have to finish.
Grief is not only sadness.
It can look like exhaustion, irritation, relief, numbness, memory, laughter, paperwork, silence, unfinished conversations, changed routines, or simply noticing that the room feels different now.
You are allowed to talk about what is actually happening, not what grief is supposed to look like.
WHAT SUPPORT CAN LOOK LIKE
Sometimes you need a place to put the whole truth.
Say the part people avoid
Talk about anger, relief, resentment, guilt, love, exhaustion, family complications, or the thing you are tired of explaining.
Sort through what changed
Loss changes routines, relationships, identity, plans, and ordinary days. Sometimes naming those changes is useful all by itself.
Have a human conversation
No worksheets required. No pressure to find a lesson. Just room to talk with someone who can stay with the conversation.
You can need support and still be capable.
Coffee With the Dogs is not therapy or medical care. It is practical, human support for people who want somewhere honest to talk while they are living through loss and transition.
Practical preparation. Support through loss.
If you want to talk, start there. If you need practical help first, that is here too.
